We’re Thermomix Consultants based in Tuart Hill, Perth, Western Australia.

Our Story

In 2013 we met each other on Instagram (Matt stalked Cale down haha) and we chatted almost every day for a year. Matt lived in Perth and Cale in Melbourne so we had no idea what was going to happen. Then one weekend in 2014, Matt invited Cale to Perth to meet each other face to face and the rest is history! We had the best weekend and both of us knew we wanted to be together. Next minute, we did long distance for 9 months and one of us would fly over to the other every 2-3 weeks. Let’s just say Tiger Air became our best friend lol (thanks for the cheap flights!). In 2015, Matt made the big move to Melbourne and started working for Cale’s family business Downunder Farmstays.

2015 was an amazing year as Matt moved to Melbourne and Cale’s amazing, generous and beautiful Mum (Vicki) handed down her old Thermomix (a TM31) to us and it was love at first time, temperature and speed! Before the Thermomix, we literally couldn’t cook and would always use jars or packets having no idea how many preservatives and additives were in those packaged foods. We soon became addicted to our Thermomix, used it every day and raved about it to anyone and everyone! We love how simple it is to use, how it saves so much time in the kitchen, helped us get creative and adventurous with our food and most of all how beneficial it was to our health by creating our own, beautiful homemade food and knowing exactly what’s in it.

Fast forward to 2020. No one could have predicted Covid-19 and our family business was hit very hard. With a pause on all international travel and tourism, our business was paused also. Luckily we had the aid of Job Keeper to keep us going, but we were definitely feeling a bit lost and demotivated. This was our fight or flight moment and we knew we had to keep pushing ourselves to find another way to channel our creativity and energy. And just like that, in August 2020, we officially became Thermomix Consultants!

We absolutely love being able to work for Thermomix Australia and it has really given us the drive to keep challenging ourselves. We have met the most amazing and inspiring people on our journey so far and every customer we have gained along the way becomes a friend. We love being able to introduce them to the world of Thermomix and we know it can change their life for the better like it did for us. In May 2021, we moved to Perth (where Matt is from) to be closer to his parents & friends. We also moved for a sea change and some warmer weather. We can’t wait to continue growing our client base, our brand and sharing our love for homemade food made in the Thermomix.
